After graduating from Hawkesbury Agricultural College in 1976, Phil began his career as an agronomist with Agrisearch Services based in Orange and Toowoomba. Most growers are aware of the recommendation to not plant chickpea into paddocks with a recent history of pulse crops. The current high chickpea prices however are very attractive and some growers may be wondering if the risk is worth the potential financial gain.
