Fungicide permit update

Fungicide permits for 2016 chickpea and lentil crops

New permits

Pulse Australia has been able to secure the following APVMA minor use permits for this season.


Cabrio fungicide

plus other registered products containing: 250 g/L PYRACLOSTROBIN as their only active constituent

APVMA Permit PER82995

This permit is in force from 28 July to 30 November 2016

For use in chickpea and lentil for the control of Ascochyta blight

Use rate: 400–650 mL/ha

Withholding Periods:

Harvest: DO NOT harvest for 30 days after application.

Grazing: DO NOT graze or cut for stock food for 5 weeks after application


Sumitomo Sumisclex 500 fungicide

plus other registered products containing: 500 g/L PROCYMIDONE as their only active constituent

APVMA Permit PER82976

This permit is in force from 19 July to 30 November 2016

For use in chickpea for the control of Botrytis Grey Mould

Use rate: 500 mL/ha

Withholding Periods:

Harvest: DO NOT harvest for 21 days after application.

Grazing: DO NOT graze or cut for stock food for 21 days after application


FarmOz (ADAMA) Fung-O-Nil 500 Flowable Agricultural fungicide

plus other registered products containing: 500 g/L CHLOROTHALONIL as their only active constituent.

Imtrade Whack 720 fungicide

plus other registered products containing:720 g/L CHLOROTHALONIL as their only active constituent.

APVMA Permit PER82973

This permit is in force from 19 July to 30 November 2016

For use in chickpeas and lentils for Ascochyta blight (Ascochyta spp.) & Grey Mould (Botrytis spp.)

Use rate:

500g/L products: 1.45 - 2.90 L/ha

720g/L products: 1 - 2 L/ha

Withholding Periods:

Harvest: DO NOT harvest for 14 days after application.

Grazing: DO NOT graze or cut for stockfeed for 14 days after application. DO NOT graze or feed treated forage or fodder to livestock which maybe used to produce milk for human consumption

  • PER82964 Prosaro 420 / Ascochyta blight, grey mould / Current to 21-Oct-2016
