Pulse standards review 2022

The Pulse Standards Committee has met and developed the first consultation paper proposing changes to the Pulse Standards for the 2022/23 season. The proposed changes have been developed based on industry submissions.

The primary proposed changes are as follows:

  • Ryegrass ergot tolerance for ‘Farmer Dressed’ and ‘Farmer Dressed Export’ to be aligned; ‘Machine Dressed’ to be ‘nil’
  • Clearer wording for pea weevil assessment method
  • Updated/clearer photos in visual recognition standards guide (VRSG)
