We are excited about 2016 being International Year of Pulses and we are keen that the industry be promoted through creative, interesting and informative images.
These are my pulses!
‘These are my pulses’ photo and video competition is open until 5 pm on 28 February 2016. The Australian National Committee, with the support of Pulse Australia, has launched the competition to capture and showcase Australian pulse related stories.
Entries go in the draw for the chance to win the overall prize – a drone valued at $2000, or a $500 gift voucher from a leading camera store – for best photo and best video.
How to enter the competition
Take an original, unpublished photograph or create a two-minute video, featuring any aspect of pulse production or consumption.
The star of the video would be the particular pulse grown and the cast can include farming family members, co-workers, advisors or other people who contribute to the ‘pulse story’.
‘These are my Pulses’ is open to all Australians and aims to promote pulses in the Australian landscape.
Note: Anyone can enter! Agros, growers, consultants, researchers, industry… foodies, so get clicking, panning and zooming!
Submit your entries to Mary Raynes before 5pm, 28 February 2016.
Check out this entry from Ash Teasdale, Rupanyup, Victoria and be inspired to tell your story!
The Weekly Times has also joined in with their own collection of great pulse images.
